Professor L Randall Wray of the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the Institute of New Economic Thinking will be in Sheffield on September 11th, 2014.

As you are probably aware, Professor Wray is at the forefront of Modern Money theory (MMT) and is a prominent critic of the modern banking model.

He was also a PhD student of Hyman Minsky, who is referenced heavily in Positive Money's outstanding book on banking, Modernising Money.
